Profile

I have been coaching for 20 years now, and during that time have coached just under 500 students.

During this time I have been hired by Both Borough and County Councils, Leagues, County and National Associations, and had the pleasure of working with a number of National Snooker and Billiards Champions.

More recently I have started working with local Primary and High schools, coaching special needs pupils for Primary Schools and advising local High schools about the introduction of the cue-zone into school project.

Most of my coaching is however one on one, and I have taken great pleasure from guiding 17 of my coaching group to National Championship finals during the last 10 years.

I started Coaching voluntarily back in 1994 to bring new players into our local Billiards and Snooker Leagues, and this is something that we in Norfolk have successfully done during this period.

This has proven so successful that through our efforts we formed a Junior Billiards League, the ‘Narbeck Junior Billiards League’ ,which is now in its 15th year and has seen in excess of 150 Boys and Girls compete in its League and K.O competitions since that time.

My coaching group is based in our home village of West Acre at West Acre Club.

I have been fortunate enough to have had a successful playing career, winning the English Billiards Championship twice and the All England Championship once, while winning 21 England Caps. My personal best breaks at billiards is 408 and snooker 136.

I am available for two or three hour lessons, but also offer rates for half day & full day coaching, (including refreshments).

All lessons will be suited to each student’s level and personal requirements.
