Ukraine’s Anton Kazakov won the 2022 World Snooker Federation Junior Championship to turn professional for the first time from the start of the 2022/23 season.
Aged 17, the talented youngster won eight matches, culminating in a 5-3 success against England’s Jake Crofts to claim the biggest title of his career to date.
He won his first match as a professional at the 2022 Championship League, as well as securing a notable match win against Mohamed Ibrahim at the World Championship in April 2023.
Kazakov returned to the World Snooker Tour for the 2026/27 season after winning a remarkable double at the EBSA European Championships – winning both the Main and Under-21 titles.

In 2019, Kazakov won the Ukrainian National Snooker Championship for the first time, losing just one frame throughout the competition.
