Profile
With over 40 years experience at a high amateur level in Ireland, Con took his coaching badges in Ireland
under the tutelage of national coach PJ Nolan.I went onto start The Cork Snooker Academy in 2023 which
caters for juniors & adults with a combined attendance of 40 participants on a weekly basis across four
separate levels.
1. Cork Junior Academy – 8yrs > 16yrs
2. Cork Sports Partnership/SBI 4 week Introduction To Snooker – 12yrs > 17yrs.
3. Foróige Dedicated 4 week Introduction To Snooker – https://www.foroige.ie
(2 & 3 These run a number of times throughout the year and we transition some juniors from
these to The Cork Junior Academy thus building the junior game in Cork & Ireland.
4. Adult coaching 18yrs upwards
With our club The Crucible currently having two pro’s on tour in Aaron Hill & Leone Crowley (2026), the plan
is to bring some more juniors through in the coming years who may follow in their footsteps.
