Hammad Miah regains his World Snooker Tour status by winning the 2026 World Snooker Federation (WSF) Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Miah, who first turned professional in 2013, defeated Wang Xinbo in a deciding frame to earn a two-year tour card from the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
The 2018 Paul Hunter Classic saw Miah reach the last 16 of a full-ranking event for the first time before losing to eventual champion Kyren Wilson. He has since repeated the run at the 2021 British Open and 2023 Shoot Out.
Miah has previously qualified for the tour through Q School on three occasions during his career, most recently in 2021.
In 2017 he reached the final qualifying round of the World Championship for the first time with victories against Ricky Walden and Martin O’Donnell to stand one win away from a debut at the Crucible Theatre, before losing out to Rory McLeod 10-7.
