China’s Wang Xinbo will compete on the World Snooker Tour (WST) for the first time during the 2026/27 season after topping the CBSA Tour ranking list.
The teenager impressed at the 2026 World Snooker Federation (WSF) Championships in Bulgaria where he reached the finals of both the Junior and Open competitions.
Wang dropped just four frames en route to the final of the Junior event, before losing out to Ukraine’s Michael Larkov, and quickly bounced back to reach the Open event’s title match – taking the experienced Hammad Miah all the way to a deciding frame.
He has already featured in several WST events as a wildcard and boasts victories over Ben Woollaston, Matthew Selt and Robbie Williams.
At the 2026 World Championship, Wang qualified because of his performances at the WSF Championships and reached the last 80 stage by defeating Mitchell Mann and Iulian Boiko.
