China’s Yao Pengcheng earned a two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) tour card from the start of the 2025/26 season by finishing in top spot in the CBSA Tour ranking list.
Yao previously competed as a wildcard at the 2015 Shanghai Masters, losing 5-2 to former Masters champion Alan McManus in the opening round of the event in his home country.
He won two matches at the 2026 World Championship – defeating Ryan Davies and David Lilley to reach the third qualifying round.
