World Billiards Ltd has today announced a board level restructure following the recent resignation of Phil Mumford.

Managing Director Jason Colebrook will be joined be Director of Tournaments Steve Lock and Jim Burke, who returns to the board and will also assume the role of company secretary.

There is also the creation of two non-executive director roles for player representatives, to be filled by Darren Clark and Chris Coumbe who have also joined the board.

New defined roles within the WBL board are:

Executive Directors:

Jason Colebrook – Managing Director

Jim Burke – Company Secretary

Steve Lock – Director of Tournaments

Non-Executive Directors:

Darren Clark – Players Representative

Chris Coumbe – Players Representative

Jason Ferguson, WPBSA Chairman said: “World Billiards remains an important part of our overall strategy within the WPBSA Group and I am therefore pleased that we are today able to announce this restructure. In particular, it is a positive step to be able to create new roles for player directors and I welcome the fresh insight that they will be able to bring to the administration.

“In recent weeks we have seen events staged in Thailand, Australia, Canada, Ireland and England and I particularly look forward to seeing the World Billiards Championship being staged at the prestigious RACV Club in Melbourne later this year.”
